2nd regional conference
LAU’s Center for Program and Learning Assessment (CPLA) in collaboration with Ford Foundation will hold the second regional conference on "Program and Learning Assessment in Higher Education" from October 29–30, 2010. The center invites submissions to the conference.

Abstract guidelines for papers
This conference is a platform for exchanging expertise and experiences in higher education assessment. Papers may focus on either research (case studies, surveys, etc.) or reports (experiences or assessment projects and initiatives).
Abstracts for papers should be a maximum of 300 words. All abstracts will be blind peer-reviewed to ensure that conference papers are of high quality. All abstracts must show how the presentations will contribute to one of the major topics of the conference. They should indicate the relevance to the literature in the field, the research aims addressed, the methodology and data used, and some indication of the results or main arguments.
Send two email attachments to cpla@lau.edu.lb: one including the title of the paper and the abstract, and the second including the title of the paper, author’s name, affiliation, contact address, and a biography of 50 words.
Papers are to be planned for a 20-minute presentation followed by a 10-minute discussion period.
